NOC Support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor network performance using various tools and dashboards.
    Identify and escalate potential issues or outages to senior engineers.
  • Application Monitoring:
    Continuously monitor application performance using various tools and dashboards.
    Identify and escalate potential issues or outages to senior engineers.
  • Alert Management:
    Respond to and investigate threat alerts and incidents.
    Document and track the resolution of alerts and incidents.
  • Basic Troubleshooting:
    Perform basic troubleshooting steps to resolve common network and common application problems (After getting related SOW/Training from internal team).
    Document troubleshooting steps and outcomes.
  • Communication:
    Communicate with related internal teams regarding network and application issues.
    Maintain clear and concise communication logs.
  • Incident Management:
    Assist in the management of network/application incidents, following established procedures.
    Contribute to the resolution of incidents by performing assigned tasks.
    Learning and Development:
    Seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in day2day operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in network engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a NOC or similar real-time monitoring and operations role. (Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply)
  • Understanding of network fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of compute infrastructure, including virtualization platforms
  • Proficient with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds and Zabbix.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network, compute, and storage systems and escalate critical incidents when necessary.
  • Strong communication skills for effective incident reporting and collaboration
  • Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment, including on-call rotations.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 suit
