System Admin/ IT Support

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot Office IT Issues: Diagnose and resolve common IT problems, such as Wi-Fi connectivity issues, printer setup, and peripheral device support.
  • User Account Management: Assist with basic user account management tasks, including password resets, account creation, and permissions using Microsoft Active Directory (AD) when necessary.
  • User Support: Provide both in-person and remote support to employees, guiding them through system configurations, troubleshooting, and maintenance tasks.
  • Office Equipment Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain office equipment such as computers, printers, and other peripherals, ensuring they function efficiently.
  • Hardware and Application Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware malfunctions, application errors, and other end-user technical issues, minimizing disruption to daily office operations.
  • Documentation and Troubleshooting Guides: Create and maintain documentation for recurring IT issues and develop troubleshooting guides for common problems to streamline future support requests.

Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in IT support, troubleshooting, or similar roles.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in resolving hardware/software issues on Windows and Mac.
  • Knowledge of network setups, printer configuration, and peripheral devices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory for account management.
  • Familiar with remote support tools.
  • Documentation:
  • Ability to create clear troubleshooting guides.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to resolve IT issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Certifications: A+, Microsoft certifications are a plus.
